Raising the Curtain on the 43rd P.S.I. Auction Collection

(Ankum) The wait is over: The 43rd P.S.I. Auction excels with a selection of young riding horses of outstanding quality and potential for the international arena. 25 dressage and 25 show jumping youngsters will be for sale at the P.S.I. Auction Centre in Ankum on 10 December. Legendary sires such as Chacco-Blue and Diamant de Semilly will be represented as well as the sought-after young stallions Casallco, Chaccoon-Blue, Million Dollar and Chac Boy. Among the dressage horses there are many stallions who are highly successful in sport themselves: Foundation, Vitalis, Dancier or Fürst Jazz. Details of the collection are now available online at psi-auktion.de.

“P.S.I.” — these are three letters that not only stand for the world’s largest private horse auction, but have also been synonymous with sport horses of the highest quality for more than 40 years. P.S.I. (Performance Sales International) once launched a visionary concept: to select the best young dressage and show jumping horses and place them in the right hands. Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann have refined and perfected their vision to this day. The result is a collection of 50 exceptional young horses with the best jumping and dressage genes. The mothers and grandmothers of these auction candidates are outstanding mares that enrich every breeding programme and have already produced numerous winners in the international dressage arena and show jumping ring.

Examples of the collection

Some of the dressage highlights such as catalogue numbers 2, For Prime (by Fürst Jazz) and 16, Vimanciero are close connections to the former Bundeschampions Bitcoin OLD and Saniola. The four-year-old Oldenburg stallion Ferraristi is a full brother to the 2017 World Young Dressage Horse Vice Champion, Ferrari OLD. Catalogue number 15, For Britain is – as the name suggests – a son of the exceptional mare Real Gold, who has already brought us the championship horse Duke of Britain FRH and the above mentioned Bitcoin OLD.

The jumping collection can boast several champions: catalogue no. 50, Kalifa (by Million Dollar) is the reigning Bundeschampionesse of five-year-old show jumpers, while catalogue no. 47, Garance de Vains (by Diamant de Semilly) was Vice World Champion of six-year-old show jumpers in Lanaken. The licensed Ogano Sitte stallion, Ogano’s Edition won the Deister Show Jumping Championships for four-year-olds. Further highlights are certainly the Casallco daughters Chyazint, who has already repeatedly made an impression in the show jumping ring under the Swedish rider Ebba Johansson, or Casall’s Flying PS, a half-sister to Chaclot under Ricardo Pisani.

Paul Schockemöhle’s Lewitz Stud is a unique gene pool of young talent, which is complemented by the Osthoff Stud of the Kasselmann family. The individual and age-appropriate training of the young athletes by the experienced staff in Mühlen and Hagen sets the foundation for a successful future in sport.
